Oh Christmas Tree!

We got our Christmas tree last weekend. In another chapter of "Things I Love About My New House" we went to a tree farm just miles away. We took the wagon for the kids and walked through every. single. field. looking for just the right tree. With a new vaulted ceiling we wanted something big, tall, impressive. Think, Griswald tree meets Rockefeller center. But, luckily, they only had very normal sized trees. We brought home a lovely Canaan Fir that is about 7 feet tall. It is a very pretty tree. We have since put on the lights and are almost done putting on the ornaments. My husband and Jack put a Geotracks train around the base and it looks really cute. Baby girl likes to pull the tree skirt away and reach up to try and eat some needles. I won't worry until her diaper starts to smell like a car air freshener or pine sol.

I am really excited for this Christmas. I can't wait to see Jack's eyes when we go downstairs to see that Santa has visited.

i can only imagine how excited you are! I am excited and Abbie has no idea what is going on! One day I want to take the kids to a tree farm and let them pick them out. We don;t have many here in SoCal. You need to post a pic of the tree when you are all done.
