Hello!

So, hi, what was I saying?
Oh yeah, teeth, blah blah, case of the blahs, grumpy babies, cold, cold weather. But now, NOW, It is warming up! Spring is in the air! You can smell the ground thawing out. We actually had the windows open for a few days last week and I feel like a new woman. It's a wonder what some fresh air and the promise of more to come can do for you!

The constant scene last week. Oh the humanity!

I have a busy busy week ahead of me, though, this Friday my baby girl will have her first birthday. My sweet, dumpling of an angel is almost walking; she is babbling and saying, "hi," to everyone and charming her way into a toddler-sized spot in my heart.

I plan to share with you some fun looks into the life of my Sarah. Including a look back at her very exciting and fast (and unexpected) birth in our bathroom! And the very special relationship she has with the boy was the first to swell my heart with delicious mommy goo.

I WANT TO HEAR ALL ABOUT THE BIRTH IN THE BATHROOM!!! In fact, I am going to go look in the archives to see if it's back there, because I don't think I can wait even one more second.

I read about it in the archives, but still I am interested in more more more. I wonder if it was scary at the time, or if you were too caught up in it to feel scared. I wonder if it was scary/scarier for your husband and in-laws. I wonder if it felt surreal, or like you couldn't believe it was happening. I wonder if when you go into your bathroom you often see where she was born and think about it. I wonder if it feels neat to have done something like that; I would think it would feel...well, neat. Really neat.
