Hot

Is it Thursday already? Where does the blogging time go? Oh yeah, it got eaten up by the trip to Costco, the visit to the doctor, the never-ending loads of laundry, the story time at the library, the wanderings around WalMart, the lunches that come with toys, and an evening spent at the carnival!

Jack is at that magical age where carnivals are some of the best places on earth. You get to eat french fries and funnel cake for dinner and ride all the rides you want. He peeked out of the moonbounce at me taking his picture and said, "Mama, I'm having fun!"

And little Sarah just sat in her stroller, eating everything in sight (including about a pound of turkey from my pit turkey sandwich). And pointing and calling, "Me, me," whenever Jack got on a ride.

It is so hot here, people. I hate going outside and I break into a sweat just loading the kids into the car. For more sweaty hotness, see what's cooking at Picture This.

Sweet shots! Isn't it amazing how the kids can enjoy themselves in the heat?

Your pictures just keep getting better and better! These are both fab. Isn't it funny how we dread the heat, but it doesn't bother the kids in the least?

That picture of Sarah is so sweet... she looks so enthralled by whatever she's looking at.

Heat, blah. I'm sitting here eating ice cream out of the container for a cool snack. Shhhh.

The photos are wonderful. Your little ones adorable cheeks show the heat. How do they stand it? I'm a wimp. Oh no, I'm just old.

Unfortunately, I don't take out my toddler out often after his nap in the afternoons. I work during the week, and in the weekends, we hang out by the pool. He's going through his terrible twos now at 18 months!!

Sounds like they had a blast, we took the kids to a fair a few weeks back and they had a ball.

Love the second shot especially! Don't know how the kids can bear to be in the ball pool in the heat. All that sticky plastic! Also, what is a funnel cake???

NOW I know what funnel cake is!! I think we have something similar but can't remember what it's called. The email address thing is strange. Some people seem to get it in the comments and some don't! I didn't get yours either! :-D
