No Kids in My Best Shots

Tree at Monticello

We had a wonderful weekend away and we took some pictures while visiting Monticello. It was fun to play around with the camera and to take pictures of subjects that were holding still. But I have to say, our pictures are a little bit boring.

This picture is my favorite, taken by my husband:

Monticello

We also took a bunch of pictures in Luray Caverns, but, really, how exciting are pictures of the inside of a cave?

Yay for a weekend with just you and the hubby! I'd miss my girl soooo much, but I'd like to do that sometime.

I don't think your pictures are boring, tho. I love your husband's shot with the flowers in the foreground, and I find the reflection in the cave shot really cool!

I like all three pics! The middle is my favorite. I like the color in it.

I like all three . . . they say 'I'm on vacation without my children and could actually take a picture' Ahhhhhh . . . dreamy.

the cave shot reminds me of when we hiked through mammoth cave when i was 4 months pregnant. 15 minutes into it I was like, "seen one rock, seem em all". But the texture of this shot is very, very cool.
