Who knew that a 2 dollar pair of camo flip flops from a bin on the floor of the Children's Place would be so much fun to a three year old boy. Since we bought them Monday, he has worn them all day long in the house, on every trip we've made out of the house, and even to bed Monday night.
The funniest part is that this is the third pair of shoes that are similar to shoes that his grandfather, Pappap, or Pappy, wears. So all day Monday he showed off his shoes and declared, "These are just like Pappy's. You know my twin Pappy?"
Also, he wanted me to take a movie of him singing with his new shoes:

(Notice the prominent "dancing" of the shoes) (Oh, and the pause to remind me to "take a movie of I'm singing")
I could eat him alive.
I could eat him alive.

Love the shoes! Anything so simple that makes them so happy is worth it.
That is just too cute! How sweet that he loves his shoes "just like Pappy!" I love how something so small can give them so much enjoyment.
What a cutie - and those are cute flip flops too.. He looks so cute singing ;-)
All I can say is, "Hooray!!" (with a side of Big Clap!) My baby boy is 12 now, so this really brings back fond memories of a gone-by era. Enjoy this while it's here, Mother Bunny. (I can see that you Do!;)
I agree with Christina - its always the small things that bring the most enjoyment. He look so adroable in his big people shoes
