Focus

This week's theme is focus and I have been spending a lot of time in my camera's manual reading about this "back button focusing" business. But anyway...it is always enlightening to read the manual. Such simply instructions for exactly how to do things. But I've been trying some manual focusing lately, and while I can't find an actual example of that, I have a few of my favorites to share anyway:

I just love this one. Love it. I hung it on my wall. It one of the few colorful things I've been able to photograph outside lately.

And, hee hee, I know I've posted this one before, but I just love her expression and that her pigtails are out of focus, but her face is in focus.

Maybe if I get a chance later today, I'll put up something more exciting and original, but for now thats what I got.

Stacy has much more interesting interpretations of focus I'm sure.

Love them! That top one is definitely a pretty one, and same here...love those bits of color that you can find in the winter. LOL about the crying picture. Too cute!

I like that second picture just as much this time around. The first picture is very pretty.

Both are great shots -- for different reasons of course! I can definitely see why the first one is framed and on your wall - it's gorgeous!

i love them both! i actually laughed at the crying one, though. i know...very mean, but the unfocused pigtails actually look like she is in motion...maybe shaking her head a bit? so great.

They're both great! I love the first one the too ripe red color reminds me of fall and the beginning of winter. Nice shot. And the howl and the pigtales tell all. Nice capture. :)

Great photos! I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one that takes pictures of my crying child! I, too, love the out of focus pigtails.
