Grandmothers: She is just fine. She slipped in the bathtub the other night and landed on her eye. It swelled up and turned purple immediately and she was distraught that it hurt to lay down on that side of her face. Now she barely notices it's there, rubbing her eyes and going about her business.

How many times have I told you that child abuse is just not the answer?? hehe... only kidding. Isn't it amazing how resilient the little ones are? Will fell and scraped a piece of his nail off in the process and I do believe he was more upset that he dropped his piece of sidewalk chalk than the fact that he was bleeding all over his hand.
It ALMOST looks like perfectly-applied eyeshadow.
